The Most Important Questions!
What date should I RSVP by?
May 23rd, This Year of Our Lord: 2025!
Are plus ones and children allowed?
Unfortunately, this venue limits our number of attendees and we are already at capacity. Double check your invitation for specifics! There is a teensy bit of flexibility, depending on attendance, so it can't hurt to check with us. We want as many of our loved ones as possible to be able to make it!
Will there be an open bar?
There will be unlimited beer and wine available throughout the reception. Once you get to our afterparty, we are planning to have an open bar then! We are wanting to take this party all the way to 4am Sunday morning at the afterparty, so please pace yourself to PARTY ALL NIGHT in the disco light!
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
We are planning for gluten-free, dairy-free, and beef-free options. If you have any dietary restrictions, please be sure to include it in your RSVP so that we can accommodate you.
What is the schedule for the big day?
The schedule outline is posted to the home page of this website. As we get nearer to the big day, expect a more detailed schedule with any possible changes to be posted there. Weather should not affect any part of our plans!
The rest of the questions!
What is the address of the Ceremony & Reception?
Both our Ceremony and Reception will be at: A Simple Affair, 9931 West Charleston Blvd, Suite 2, Las Vegas, NV 89117
Is this wedding indoors or outdoors?
Vegas? in the Summer? This thing better be inside or in a chilled pool with shade for days! Not to worry, we will be inside with the air conditioning for all parts of our wedding day.
What is the dress code?
We are bringing disco back in black tie fashion! Dress will be formal with tuxes for the men and formal dresses for the ladies. If you have disco-themed outfits that fit into the formal vibe, let's bring it on!
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
The doors to the venue will open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 6pm. If you use our transportation, which we highly recommend, the timeline will be set for you! If you drive, we recommend getting there 20 minutes early to walk the short distance to the venue and find a seat.
Is there a phone policy for the event?
There is. We are hosting an unplugged ceremony, where we ask you to keep your phone away and silent throughout. PLEASE keep your phones away so that we don't have photos of you taking photos. We promise to provide the professional photos taken during the ceremony to everyone who attends. After the ceremony, feel free to take all the photos you like. Hashtag coming soon!
What's the best airport to use?
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
Have you reserved a block of rooms at a hotel?
Yes! We have a block of rooms at the newly-remodeled Rio Hotel & Casino. We can add to the block, as needed, so if you see that it gets booked please reach out to us to get you squared away!
What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
We are contracting shuttle service from the room block at the Rio Hotel & Casino on the Strip to and from the Ceremony & Reception, free of charge. There will also be transport to the afterparty! With our party size, there will be several departure times posted here. If you want to leave the reception outside of those times, Uber and Lyft will be your next best options.
Is there parking available near the venue?
This is a destination wedding for everyone attending, so we sincerely ask anyone who plans to drink any alcohol at all to strongly consider using the transportation services we are providing or to Uber/Lyft. If you do not plan to drink and are driving, there is a large free parking lot immediately behind the venue that will accommodate you.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
You will be provided the opportunity to RSVP to events when you RSVP on this website. There will be an afterparty immediately following the reception with transportation provided. We will also be hosting a brunch on Sunday around 1pm that will be open to all!
Where are you registered for registry gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to get us a gift, check the registry tab on this website. It pulls from multiple sources and should direct you specifically to each item and it's online location. We are primarily looking for help with our honeymoon, but did add some things we could use for our move to Long Beach.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 720 Raymond Ave Apt 10, Santa Monica, CA 90405. If you choose to bring your gift with you, we do have some limited car space back to Los Angeles. A wedding card box will be at our reception, as well!
