As we continue on this exciting journey together, we are continuing the pursuit of our mutual love of adventure and travel over traditional gifts. We met working in the travel industry, solidified our love cruising through the Mediterranean, and have continued to grow our love across almost every continent around the globe.
However, our usual method of traveling is less about the lodging and more about the adventure of the place we are visiting. For our honeymoon, we wanted to change that just this once.
Staying on an overwater bungalow is the tippy top of our vacation bucket list and would provide the opportunity for us to slow down and just enjoy the beautiful hotel while savoring our new beautiful life together. Both of us feel that this vacation is a perfect symbol of cultivating our love in a unique and beautiful way over the lull of the waves of the blue ocean.
In fact, we barely expect to leave the bungalow.
The only time we might is when Haliann convinces Justin to endanger both their lives scuba diving with sharks. We mostly just want to be together and watch the sun rise and fall in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
We are also planning on moving to a new place in the Los Angeles area (Long Beach, specifically) soon after the reception and do have some needs for the new crib.
Finally and most importantly, please don’t feel obligated to contribute if you cannot. Your presence is much more important to us than anything in this registry. We are so grateful for your love and support, now and for the rest of our lives.
